Obituary for Joe Holzem

Joe Holzem
Mr. Joseph Norbert Holzem, better known as “Joe,” resident of Morton, Arkansas, formerly of Brookfield, Wisconsin, departed this life on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at his home at the age of 65. Joe was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 22, 1958, the son of Henry Joseph and Mary Alice (Tupy) Holzem.

Joe was raised in Lannon, Wisconsin, and was a graduate of Sussex Hamilton High School in Sussex. Joe was a proud American patriot, and an even prouder Wisconsinite, especially when it came to the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Milwaukee Brewers. Mr. Holzem worked as an office equipment technician, and in recent years, he has filled his days with tending to his plants, baking, tinkering, and spending quality time with his family. Mr. Holzem was of the Christian faith.

Mr. Holzem was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Daniel and Ronnie Holzem.

He is survived by a son, Alexander Holzem and wife, Carly, of Kewaskum, Wisconsin; three daughters, Mikayla Holzem and Ronald Boles of Morton; Angela Turley of Portage, Wisconsin, and Monica Kuhlmann and husband, Jason, of Junction City, Kansas; three brothers, Bob Holzem and wife, Gayla, of Baraboo, Wisconsin, Mike Holzem and wife, Sarah, of South Carolina, and John Holzem and wife, Karen, of Houston, Texas; a sister, Kathy Smith and husband, Tom, of Fairfield, Connecticut; seven grandchildren, Allison, Dylan, Devon, Chloe, Desirae, Ashtyn, and Everly; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
