Obituary for Sandra Kay (Crouch) Rolland

Sandra Kay (Crouch) Rolland
Mrs. Sandra Kay (Crouch) Rolland, resident of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, departed this life on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 73. Sandra was born at the family home near Hickory Ridge on October 8, 1950, the daughter of E.W and Mattie J. (Myrick) Crouch.

Sandra was a graduate of Hickory Ridge High School, and on September 12, 1980, she and Mr. David Rolland were united in marriage. The couple cherished 39 years together prior to David’s passing in 2020. In her younger years, she worked at American Greetings and as a beautician, but for most of her life, she was a homemaker, beloved wife, and wonderful mother. She enjoyed anything she could do outdoors. She loved being in nature whether it was tending the garden, fishing, or sightseeing. Mrs. Rolland was a member of Citizenship Church of Christ.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Jimmy Joe Fraze; two brothers, R.T. and Verlin Crouch; and two sisters, Marie Bixler and Artie McCain.

She is survived by a son, Billy Wayne Fraze and wife, Samantha, of Paragould; two brothers, Frank Crouch and wife, Ella, of Lonoke, and Shelby Crouch of Searcy; two grandchildren, Daniel Fraze and wife, Kyra, and Makayla Fraze; two great-grandchildren, Jase and Ava Fraze; a daughter-in-law, Shelley Fraze; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Fisher Cemetery in Fisher with Mr. Austin Taylor officiating. No visitation is planned.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Arrangements by Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home of Wynne.
